The Wattyl Lake Taupo Cycle Challenge is a service project of the Taupo Moana Rotary Club. The event which started in 1977 has grown to be a many thousand person event involving 17 different event aspects that make up the day know as the "Wattyl Lake Taupo Cycle Challenge". The organisation is based around a voluntary trust board and an organising team supported by outstanding professionals who give their time to ensure thousands of people achieve something pretty special - riding around Lake Taupo.

The Rotary Club is truly proud of the event and though this incredible day each year the Club has been able to support a number of outstanding community organisations and projects.
